Celebrating Ayurveda Day
Friday, October 25th
Ayurveda is the oldest system of medicine in the world and the new frontier of wellness. In collaboration with Dr. Pratibha Shah, an internationally renowned Ayurveda expert and one of the newest faculty members of the Boston Ayurveda School, we are hosting a celebration of Ayurveda Day, a part of a global initiative to promote and preserve the health science of Ayurveda. Dr. Anjali Singh, another recent addition to the Boston Ayurveda School faculty, will discuss why the science of Ayurveda is so relevant today and how we can integrate Ayurvedic practices into our Western lives, specifically in the transition to Fall and Winter. Erika Fritz, Ayurvedic Health Counselor, will then lead us through seasonal daily routines.
India's ancient healing system and a sister science to Yoga.
