Rebecca Donato

Rebecca is a 2019 graduate of the Boston Ayurveda School’s health counselor program. She serves as a Faculty Assistant and Chair of the BAS Alumni Association. Rebecca’s call to service is helping others cultivate a more vibrant way of living through the pursuit of self-knowledge. Her passion is helping people uncover a deeper understanding of who they are and how to design optimal self-care by combining two powerful toolkits: the ancient wisdom of Ayurveda and the contemporary science of positive psychology. Rebecca is a certified WellCoach and group educator.  She leads Ayurvedic Learning Circles that help women cultivate sattvic lifestyles within the loving support of community.

From an early age, Rebecca was drawn to understanding what leads to vibrant health, inner fulfillment and a long, satisfying life. This curiosity drew her to a career serving older adults, where she observed first-hand that clarity of purpose and practicing consistent self-care leads to flourishing at all ages. Rebecca designs and delivers best practices, programs, and trainings to life coaches serving older adults through her day job as the Executive Director of Vitalize 360, an international consortium of non-profit senior living communities committed to whole person wellness.

The aspiration to “be better at being human” fuels Rebecca’s daily practice and study of Yoga, Ayurveda and Advaita Vedanta. She is grateful for the light of beloved teachers Masaaki Okamura, Kate O’Donnell, Robert Moses, and Swami Tyagananda.
